Hi, its Chris Taliaferro, the new president of the Premier SGA. I would like to thank all of the members that helped elect me to this position. To all of the Open and Jr members who have paid their dues, we thank you. If you have not paid your dues, please do so. This is one of the only ways the Association can operate. The Annual Meeting was held in Athens, TX on May 14th & 15th along with the Annual Sale and Jr. Heifer Show. We had a good meeting and sale and the Jr. Show had 89 head. The new board members elected are: Darrell Pitchford, Amy Holloway, Kevin Wilkerson, David Crawford, Matt Nichols, Jerry Stults and Chris Taliaferro. The Premier Breeder of the Year award was presented to Bill and Kati Barrett of Five Oaks Ranch. Don't forget their show and Annual Sale on June 3-4 in Clifton, TX. Please come out and support our member's sale. If I can be of any assistance, please let me know. In closing, I would like to thank Kevin Wilkerson for his years as president of the association, and for a job well done. And, to Sandy Miller and Randy Snodgress, thank you for your years of service on the board.
